Current Events: Brussels

A Bruxelles, un nouvel examen a ete mis en place. This test is being given to British workers especially. The test's purpose is to boast the amount of British workers in the country. So instead of taking an exam in French when they enter the country, they make take it in English. This is helping the economy greatly.

Current Events: Switzerland

This time of year in Switzerland is called the Carnival Time, or Fasnacht. Many towns have wonderful carnivals and fairs. Basel, however, takes the cake by having a lively and colorful parade that starts at 4am. Another funny tradition the the Swiss people take part in is Combat de Reines or cow fighting. This contest happens from March to October, in lower Valais, and is used to determine which beast will lead the herding.

Ma tante Dena.

C'est ma tante. Elle s'appelle Dena. Elle a trente-neurf. Elle est mariée à mon oncle, Chris. Ils ont trois garçons, du nom de Garrett, Braeden, et Griffin. Elle est diplômée de Chestnut Hill College. Elle est un professeur de mathématiques. La famille habite à Bethléem.
